Dr. Evan Lynn

Dr. Evan Lynn graduated from SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 2000. He completed his postgraduate endodontic residency at NYU School of Dental Medicine in 2005. Dr. Lynn joined the NYU faculty as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Endodontics in 2005. Subsequently, he completed a two-year fellowship in Implant Dentistry at NYU Department of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry.

As a dual-trained endodontist and implantologist, Dr. Lynn became one of the leaders in treatment planning for compromised teeth. Dr. Lynn has lectured extensively on this topic. He has given workshops at the annual American Association of Endodontists meetings. He has an accredited continuing education online presentation available to general dentists. He has lectured nationally and internationally on the factors involved in selecting when to save a nerve root-compromised tooth or to extract and place an implant.

Dr. Lynn’s wife, Dr. Marlisa Popper, is a Prosthodontist practicing in NYC. The Lynn’s have two children and the family enjoy skiing together in the winters and traveling in the late summer.
